What to Expect
Escape
Camp ACC provides the perfect environment to escape the overwhelming lives our young people find themselves in, and the programs provide the teaching of God’s love in a unique and life-changing way. Located in a beautiful wooded setting at the base of the Unaka Mountains, students and adults alike are able to leave their world behind to experience God’s love in a fun and exciting way.

Fun
The fun never stops at Camp ACC! The countless activities offered are designed specifically for the ages of those attending. It is easy to say that students of all ages have the time of their lives while here!

God’s Love
God’s love is not only taught, it is also experienced at Camp ACC! Students are shown an almighty God who loves them and wants a personal relationship with them through His Son Jesus Christ!

Relationships
All of our sessions have a strong focus on small groups. This allows students to spend time making lasting friendships with other young people who are discovering and developing their own relationship with their heavenly Father.

Faith
Appalachian Christian Camp is a non-denominational Christian Camp and Retreat Center that operates as a ministry partner of the area Christian Churches and Churches of Christ. Being a Christian Camp does not mean that only Christians can attend. It does mean that we are a camp that teaches Christian values and concepts and we are closely tied to the churches with which we are partnered.

Unique Facilities
Our facilities have been described as the best camp facilities people have seen. Summer lodging includes two 64-bed air-conditioned dormitories, a 32-bed air-conditioned lodge, and a 20-bed air-conditioned lodge. We have a multi-purpose facility that houses our dining hall and gymnasium, plus a large meeting area. Worship is held in a large outdoor worship center and at the campfire area. We also have great recreation facilities that include: ropes course, ball field, sand volleyball court, large swimming pool, and walking trails along the Indian Creek.

Extraordinary Staff
We have two types of summer staff:

The Program Staff consists of Program Directors and those they have personally selected as Counselors, Teachers, Cabin Parents, Recreation Leaders and Worship Leaders. All members of the program staff are volunteers who share their time and God’s love with the students who attend our programs. Over 300 volunteers each summer fill Program Staff positions.

Our Support Staff
consists of those who lifeguard, facilitate ropes course activities, cook, clean, and maintain our excellent facilities. The support staff is made up of mostly college age adults who have attended Camp ACC as campers and experienced the impact a week of camp can have on ones spiritual walk. Those students participating in our PATHWay program supplement the support staff.

Health and Safety
The health and safety of our students is very important to us and we work hard to make our campus and our programs safe. We make every effort to meet or exceed industry standards.
We’re Going Paperless!
Please help us keep the cost of camp as low as possible by providing a parent email on your registration form. By doing so, you will be agreeing to receive all confirmation materials via email. The only other thing you’ll need to do is make sure all emails from campacc.com will pass through any filtering set up for the email address you provide. Thanks for your help.

Costs
We are a non-profit ministry. Our fees are based on actual costs. We are able to offer our sessions at a price far below the actual cost thanks to the blessings God has provided through the generous support of churches and individuals.

Refund Policy
A non-refundable deposit of $100 is due with your registration for all camps except Day Camps, Pee Wee, and Pathway. The full tuition amount will be due for these camps with your registration. Any amount paid over $100 can be refunded if the registration is cancelled at least 2 weeks prior to the start of that camp session. Wilderness Grand Canyon has its own specific refund policy. Please refer to the Wilderness page to review this policy.

Financial Assistance
We do not want any student to be unable to attend camp for financial reasons. If you have a need for assistance, please call the Camp ACC office for a Scholarship Application. Scholarships will be distributed as they are available from the Camp ACC Scholarship Fund. If you would like to help support the Fund, you may send a donation with your child’s Registration Form or simply
mail a check to:
